Writing and Tutoring Help Question

Q: Where can I get writing help?

Writing and Tutoring Help Answer

A:

Writing assistance is available through Tutor.com, a free 24/7 online tutoring and writing service available to West Coast University students within their Canvas courses.  Please visit the library's Tutor.com information page for detailed instructions on how to access and use Tutor.com. West Coast University does not have a physical writing center.

Students needing writing help can also visit the Virtual Academic Resource Center Faculty-Based Tutoring page and select the English & Writing 1:1 Tutoring Session option. *Please note: you may need to log in with your West Coast University email and password to access the faculty-based tutoring site.  Please access this document for more information on faculty-based tutoring.

For in-person writing help, students in on-ground programs may contact their campus Student Affairs Advisor or General Education Specialist for assistance. Peer-to-peer help is also available through the PALS tutoring program via Student Affairs.
