A: Grammarly Authorship allows you to track your writing process and show the sources of text through Google Docs or Microsoft Word documents. Grammarly Authorship helps you to be transparent with your work by labelling if text is written by you, generated with artificial intelligence (AI), or modified with Grammarly.
You can enable Grammarly Authorship using the browser extension in Google Docs or Grammarly for Windows/Mac in Microsoft Word. If you have the browser extension and open a Google Doc, you should see a dialog box asking you to activate Grammarly Authorship. If you have Grammarly for Windows/Mac installed on your device, when you open a new Microsoft Word document, you should see a dialog box asking you to activate Grammarly Authorship.
